Today we started with a short briefing from Zoe Randall in the media arts conference room. Soon after we observed an advisory session, our equivalent to a skills sessions. Here we saw students from grades 7-9 participating in this session. Seeing this session gave us a good amount of information about teacher and student relationships. After the advisory session, we got to sit in on a critique session in the elementary school. The young students gave us a tour of their classroom and explained their projects to us. I found the younger students very confident and intelligent individuals.
After our lunch break with the hosts, we met up with Andrea, Brooklynn and Max who helped us answer some key questions for our group presentation on Thursday. We then interviewed some of the students from the middle school so we could make more progress on our presentation questions. At the end of the day in our free time, Chris Wakefield took us to his x-block class so we could experience American football first-hand.
